just seen this from fans eye
However, the only things that have emerged from Carrow Road this week have been those coded messages, the ??56m statement? and the secret meeting with supporters.
Ah yes, the cosy chat that took place with the supporters consultative group (SCG). Didn't you know about that? No, of course you didn't, because only a select group of ?superfans? were allowed access to the club's secrets.
(For those who don't know what the SCG is, it's a collection of unelected supporters who are supposed to represent their fellow fans at regular meetings with the club. You'll probably have heard of some of the names on the SCG, but there is also a bunch of people in the group who will mean absolutely nothing to you.)
The SCG had a meeting with club officials this week in which they were told a load of stuff about the Cullum situation - but everything they were told was confidential.
I have a couple of mates on the SCG, and I asked them what was said at the meeting.
?Sorry, no can do,? was the general tone of the answers. ?What we were told was in confidence, but as you can imagine things aren't quite as clear-cut as Cullum would have you believe.?
You've got to give it to the club - it's one heck of a way of getting its message out without actually publicly saying anything. And if it later turns out that the club has been playing games and spouting nonsense all along, it can always deny what was said at the briefing. It was all confidential and off the record, after all.
In the meantime, there is a now a small army of people wandering around tapping their noses, winking and dropping hints that they know more than most of us do.
But what gives the club the right to decide which fans should given more information than the other 20,000 season-ticket holders?
We are all stakeholders in the club, and it's just not good enough that we are not being given the whole picture by those in charge.
The cosy SCG meeting was a grubby way of doing things. The whole thing stinks, and all it has done is further the impression that Delia and friends will not sell their shares at any price and will use any tactics they can to maintain control and spin their way out of this tricky situation.
Seems a bit shabby to me
