The Contract

I, Damien Francis ("Mr Loyal"), contract to play association football for Wigan Athletic Football Club ("The Mark") for as long as I bloody well feel like, alright?

Remuneration for said services is not nearly enough, so The Mark had better be ready for renegotiations at Christmas.

Mr Loyal reserves the right to instruct Tony Finnegan ("The Cunt") at any point during The Contract to seek employment elsewhere (except Fulham, Charlton and Portsmouth who fail to deliver on their promises). Especially if it looks like The Mark will be relegated. A loyalty bonus will be paybable to Mr Loyal on termination of The Contract, which might be sooner than you think, suckers!
