What I don't get is...
Why doesn't PC explain what he is offering apart from ?5M, ?15M ?20m or whatever it is for the player budget. If we imagine for illustrative purposes, that he offers ?20M for the player budget but wants control of the club for it, that means he's only actually offering about ?10M doesn't it, cos the other ?10M is underwritten by Delia's shares that she would give him. So the deal is I put ?10M in, Delia puts ?10M, I get the club...isn't it? What's the proposal for if us other shareholders want to be bought out, for if (when) AXA and RBS say we want our cash back etc?
However more concerning is Archant's willingness to go after a story and say whatever they want in a desperate attempt to keep a story going and sell papers.
I want our board to work with this chap and get his cash in, in a way that is fair to everyone and doesn't turn our club into a rich man's plaything be that DS/MWJ, A/ST or PC. I want it to happen in private so in the meantime our ability to broker deals in the transfer market isn't compromised either in hoisting up any prices clubs ask our potentially richer club, or in putting off good players who think this is all a bit risky. So my biggest concern isn't with the existing board or Peter Cullum. It's with Archant who are seriously pissing me off.
Or have i missed something?
