Have a great time in Thailand, bear in mind that there are 3 prices for almost everything... Price for Thais (rock bottom), Price for Farang (you and I), reasonable to cheap, and price for Americans (extortionate). When buying things it is handy to get a local to do it...(cue joke)... I have only been to BKK and Hat Yai (South) but have never met a nasty Thai..
