I LOVE that arguement.
Like the days of Swindon, Forest et al around the top tier bear any resemblance what so ever to football now.
Those that say that are either too old to understand the game has changed beyond all recognition (n fact i don't believe its even the same beast anymore) or are to young to realise it was any different back then.
Chase did some things well, which should not be forgotten, but did many things a lot lot worse.
When we start selling players on 24 hour notice on order of the bank again maybe I'll reconsider.
