It was nice while it lasted but the official statement from the club suggests Cullum will have to find nearly three trimes the ?20m being bandied about.

That is before he has spent a bean on players. I know he is supposed to be worth ?1.7bn but would you splash that kind of cash with little or no prospect of a return?

By issueing the statement the club has effectively turned down the offer and its as you were. Despite protestations to the opposite I have long felt Delia and Michael are not interested in outside investment and this latest case pretty much proves the point. She has spent some of her 12 years at this club entrenching her position to the point where it would take a near madman to wrest control from her.

?56m is an awful lot for a club like Norwich and unless some alternative form of outside investment can be found it will most likely end in League 1 football.
