Oi loiked it, and was a total tourist.

I know that's not cool, but i doubt i'll ever go back so we did all the 'sights'.

Its a nice place, the Tower is awesome, and I really enjoyed the Louve.
Mona lisa is a bit of an anti climac, there is some fantastic art in there though.
Could spend a day in there no trouble at all though, so really need to pick what interests you most.
If you go in there, have a look at the ruins of the original building in the basement, that was pretty cool.
Transport is pretty good, metro is fantastic, cheap, reliable easy to use.
If you want to go full tourist, leap on one of the hop on hop off tour buses. Circuit takes a couple of hours, its a good way to get to know your way around, and decide what you then want to go and see properly.

Oh and Notre Dame is worth seeing, view from the tower is great, also there is an underground exavaction of the previous settlements on the island. Most people miss it as it looks like the entrance to the underground car park next door! Well worth going into.
