Well I should've factored in the angle of the ladder, too. I was jsut working out a method involving me going up, pulling ladder up after me then hoisting thing up etc, and realised that it might be a bit tight getting the ladder through the gap in its extended position, when the Fuck It Alternative came to my mind.
