I was really impressed with Pavlyuchenko. Hence my post below. I thought his

holding the ball up and distributing it was the key to the game, opening up the wings in the final 3rd. I really think they should have either pushed the game to the wings as I said at half time to force the Russians outside and take away the guys who could pick up Pavlyuchenko's knock downs, or keep Hengelaar and drop him back to pick up everything coming off him the way people defend Crouch.
