If you could sign Paul Gascoine at his prime knowing he had previous for beating his wife would you? If Ronaldo wanted to sign but had beaten his wife would you say no?
I just think we should be picking players based on how good they are for the team.
I must admit I don't really know anything about Andy Cole I couldn't even tell you who his wife is/was. What happened? Is he an actual nob like Joey Barton or did he make a mistake a long time ago and it was spread all over the tablbloids?
If he really is a bit of a cnut he probably wouldn't be good for the team but I'll let Glen make that call.
