Portugal might have looked prettier but criminally they got the basics wrong:
a) defending like schoolkids at set-pieces
b) giving Row Z a pasting whenever they got within 30 yards of goal.
Talented but hopelessly disorganised. We'd seen against the Czechs that they couldn't defend set-pieces but rather than fix it they managed to get even worse.
Amateurish.
