I actually wanted ze Germans to win last night.

I've long been sick of hearing how great portugal are before every tournament, only for them to do bugger all (quite similar to england really....).
Plus, as much as I rate Ronaldo as a player, amazing talent, great to watch, there is not a player in the game i love to see fail more than him.
Harsh and Irrational I know, but I can't help it.

Plus, I enjoyed our time in Berlin, which gave me a little affinity for germany.
I''m hoping Russia go a long way though, the further they get the more annoyed I get with the lack of effort by the FA to get Hiddink in as England manager.
(of course many screamed "no to johhny foreigner" at the time, worked well that didn't it?) Hiddink totaly debunks the stupid theory that foreign coaches don't work at international level.
