So in summary:
Anational newspaper has, based on speculation and conjecture, said Ameobi will sign for us today. Then the club has pretty much said that won't happen, there is no press conference and we don't really have 2-3 million to spend. Yet looking at the board here today we seem to have agreed that because Ameobi started his career under Roeder (fnar fnar) that Newcastle will let us have him for a tofee penny and a pack of fags.
It seems to me that West Brom might have something to say about that.
Don't get me wrong I'd like to see him here but only for the right price.
