but one of the things that annoys me more than anything about some commentators is their inability to grasp the (albeit different every time) rules on group finishes.

Read the, commit them to memory, react to them. It's you frickin job. Clearly *that prick* (lol!) got it right, but the amount of times they don't.

For example - I was listening to Five Live earlier and Alan Green said: "Switzerland will be pleased that the Czechs equalised because a Portuguese win would send the hosts out if they lost tonight".

So would a draw Alan, SO WOULD A DRAW.
