Isn't it a shame that one of the best competitive

performances by an international side in recent years, and one which was so unexpected, is entirely overshadowed by one offside decision ?

If you want to have a go at the ref for anything, I'd say the Italians had a good shout for a penalty just after the first goal, and just before the 2nd.
