We have consistently played to our world ranking
(current tournament excepted). Why do England fans consistently expect to win tournaments when there are half a dozen or more teams rated above us ? If we were ranked 1 or 2 in the world, fine. But we haven't been in the top 6 for many a long year, which generally entitles us to go out at the QF stage at best.
