all he needs to do is think active, active, active, active, active, active, ad infinitum until someone steps into an offside position and in last nights case he didn't... pannucci was making RvN active, so his brain didn't make the switch.

I can see pant's argument (but in this case he is wrong) and it isn't the 1st time refs and linos would have been protected to save their blushes...refs are fallable but the powers that be won't accept criticism and that leads to the clashes of opinion.

Though the Scottish FA tried the whistleblower website but has now been shut down due to increasing levels of criticism so they can't win either way
