yup. He's obviously the best player in the world on clay
And of course you're right that a big part of that is his defending.
That was what I meant by he's a boring scrapper. Just don't like that sort of tennis, really. But of course there's a huge degree of skill to it.
Just think that Federer managing to overcome him in Paris would be a huge achievement and I'd love to see it. But can't imagine I ever will (and it's looking far from certain he'll even get the chance to try, this year at least....)
