So Stanislaw comes up to me today
and taps me on the shoulder.
"Al-ann", he says, pronouncing both syllables with the same emphasis, "Polska and Germany on Sunday. Who you want win?"
"Polska", I replied, "Hotch, Polska."
He clapped me heartily on the back. "Verra good," he says, turning away,muttering "Fuggin Germans."
Teach them well at our place, we do. By the way, Hotch is what he told me is how they say G'wan. And Shtell-eye is Shoot, unless our communication isn't working.
