Is this all down to a binman on a wind-up

I have personally been quite convinced by this binner on the blackpool site but am beginning to wonder if he has done us here good and proper. My nervousness is down to the fact that I find it hard to believe we have managed to sign such a coveted player at a bargain price without (i) any mainstream media sources being alerted and (ii) a major fight with various other clubs who would all have been able to offer better wages than us.

At the end of the day the rumours started with this one bloke. Another Blackpool site then had a story quoting a "source" which could well be the same bloke. Before you know it Carrowroad.net runs the same story and then eventually Archant catch up and run a story which in the eyes of many gives it extra credibility. The fact is though that archant are only referring to "rumours" as well. All of these stories could well stem from the claims of this binner!

I for one am just a little nervous that we have all been a bit gullible! Then again maybe thats the pessimist in me!
