How many square inches in a t-shirt?

Rough estimations, regular sized t-shirt - front and back panels about 30 x 20 each, and each sleeve on piece 8 x 14

Very rough. So that's 1424 square inches of cloth, (ignoring double thickness hems etc for the sake of fag-packet calculations).

At 6oz per sq. inch that's a 38 stone 2lb t-shirt. That's more than three of me.
