Nice one ...

had a similar result myself last week. Been waiting for 7 weeks for some flooring to be put in my bathroom. 3 times they had cancelled it after we had moved everything out to give them room to work. Anyway the Friday before last they cancelled again and this time I went nuts, so they offered me 40 quid compensation. I said "40 quid? I have taken 3 days off to wait in for your fitters and I earn 100 quid a day so I'll settle for 200!" (I have Fridays off anyway and don't earn a ton a day).
After the fitters had left last Friday they gave me an envelope with 200 quid cash in it. Result as well!
