From my experience..
They would probably be far too busy with other things to have time to monitor individuals internet usage, unless they'd been asked to by your line manager, or whoever you report to.
Also depends on how big your company is, how many people work in your IT department - if it is like mine, they may not even be responsible for the Internet service.
