motson is rubbish but...

lineker and whoever they have as pundits for a given game are much much worse. for all his faults motson still seems to care. the pundits are just concerned with makign s**t jokes and stating the obvious. the level of debate has gone through the floor. they got it right when they had cruyff and o'neill giving thoughts on euro 2000 or whichever tournament it was. why they can't now get similar calibre guests is a mystery to me
