started when feeling down about your side being down, n the opposition fans, being elated takin the p........ this was of course in early years of hooliganism, when the fans used to sing, "we are the best behave supporters in the land.....when we win" that was true! but hoolies morphed into a different breed by 80`s and would use fighting as a form of retaining pride for their club...so even if their club was s..... they could take heart in thinkin that their crew was brill.....but there still wasnt any plastic fans!!!!!
