I'm glad he enjoyed it - if he truly did.

Sounds like putting on a brave face to me, but I do hope he enjoyed it all the same. For me however, the whole thing smacked of ultra-cynicism, and the attempted hijacking of Hucks' departure to sell tickets was an utterly desperate (yet predictable) ploy.
