If a kid (approx 17) came up to me last night and tried to rob my phone and my wallet after trying to hit me, and i smacked said kid in the mouth and left him on the floor (not unconsious) and walked off home. Can I be prosecuted? bearing in mind there is CCTV in the village and it would be apparent that the kid started on me and I acted in self defence.
