I fully clocked it this season when very good refs, sudden don't see things

when on a top 4 game, but when refereeing any other, handle well (and it's those games they get the reputation from and good reviews)

My favourite referee does it too, which futhers my point that it's definitely happening

Peter Walton barely calls it wrong, yet this season, and with a clear view, he saw Hleb slap murty in the face, and just ignored it. He was yards away from it, and the camera angles clearly showed Waltons view, and he chose to pretend he didn't see it
