When my daughter was about ten, she became briefly interested in heraldry

and designed me a coat-of-arms. She divided the shield into quarters and stuck in each one a picture of My Favourite Things. One was of her, one was of a City shirt, another was a guitar and the last was some trees.

I said Well Done, and told her it needed an appropriate Legend at the bottom. She thought for a bit and wrote "Oh for God's sake, HURRY UP"
