I have.
I emailed to say that I understood the decision and had no personal problem with it but that the way the decision was handled and the apparent lack of respect shown to both the supporters and to to the player was unprofessional and warranted an explanation and an apology from the board.
He has responded by saying that I should call him and he will try to explain the situation, which I will do later today.
