Leaving aside the whole fact it was Hucks

Is it acceptable that Roeder leaves it until after the final game of the season before talking to a player for the first time about whether they are going to get a new contract?

We may not be bothered by it with some of the current crop of players but if he adopts this approach in the future could we lose players because of it?
