The problem is mostly money.

Being the highest earner at the club he sets the standard, that others want, who come into the club.

Players such as Tiny Taylor would want to be paid at the same level as the highest earner.

We dont know if he was offered a lesser contract but turned it down.
We are assuming a lot of stuff without knowing the facts.
Is his hip problem more serious than meets the eye.

Can we expect the club to pay top wages to a player who may be a bit/bench player.

As Hucks said himself, he isnt getting any younger.
We all know how good he was a few years ago.

I respect DD and the job he did for us but is he or Hucks the answer to take us to the next level of playoff contenders and prem club?
We need new fresh young talent.

We also need a team with a strong defensive unit to make us "difficult to beat".
Its those extra draws and nicked wins that make all the difference in the champs.
Its not about being total world beaters.
