1. Keeping us up in the Championship.

Oh dears

1. Signing Matty Patterson. Hughes Mark 2 but with less skill. A huge waste of limited resources.
2. Some strange team selections that not only seemed dotty in advance but proved to be so. had we played Chadwick on the right rather than Matty who doesnt think the score line yesterday would have been better.
3. Subbing Dublin yesterday after 60 mins us was a disgrace both in terms of the team performance but also an insult to the great man who had been superb for the first 60 mins and still looked full of running. As soon as he went off the whole team who previously but been busting a gut to win for him appeared completely deflated. His substitution ( if he had to be subbed ) should have been with just a couple of minutes to go.
4. A completely dotty substitution yesterday putting the Doc at right back.
5. His treatment of Hucks who deserves better. Hucks has been our talisman and hero for 4 years . I would guess that he has ether scored or made at least a third of all the goals we have scored since he has been here. he is entitled to special treatment and should have been offered reasonable contract terms before the Sheffield Wednesday game .

GR said yesterday that the team had become used to losing and that players with that mentality would be leaving. I trust therefore that he will be a man of his word and not offer GD a new contract. There will be many a mid table Championship or ambitious First Division club willing to offer him a contract. I also suspect that having signed him when we were in the premiership from a premiership team that he is one of our highest wage earners.
