FAO AB re Wes Brown

He was excellent last night - but I think he's been good plenty of times (eg in the away leg in Barcelona).

Has also been pretty much ever-present in a back four this year that has only conceded 21 goals in 36 league games.

So what I don't get is - why do people slag him off the whole time? Have noticed it all year and yet whenever I see him he looks really solid.

Also - for those yesterday saying Ferdinand shouldn't be playing for England
