AMSTERDAM - Coach Adrie Koster has demoted defender urgen Colin to the reserves after comments he made in the De Telegraaf, reported the newspaper today.
In the interview, Colin, who recently signed a new contract with the Amsterdammers, stated that he had learnt nothing from Koster, and that he was getting most of his footballing education from experienced players such as Edgar Davids and Kenneth Perez.
Colin also said he was looking forward to working with the new manager, Marco van Basten. Ajax plays the playoff against SC Heerenveen on May 1st. Colin will not be part of the team.
