Done a fab job but definitely not beyond critism
It is an amazing achievement how GR has turned City round in thirty or so games. Got rid of the rubbish, and signed two top young players on loan in Ched Evans and Ryan Bertrand. We are much more organised, play better football, and are unrecognisable from the shambles of a few months ago.
But there have been some bizarre selections and the signings of James Henry, Kieran Gibbs and Juan Velasco didn’t make sense at all to me. The team selection at Coventry, including James Henry in the side at Leicester, and the midfield at home to Blackpool were all very very strange. And also breaking up the Doc/Shackell partnership was not a good move, as they had improved no end since Roeder arrived.
