Don't worry, you obviously want the job, go for it!

I've never seen anyone penalised for submitting their CV before the closing date!

Make sure you do your company research, know you CV inside out, prepare some interesting questions for the interviewers, know your strengths and weaknesses, but then you know all these things!

If I remember rightly you work in IT, you want some ideas of trends etc just ask. I work for Fujitsu Services as a principle solutions architect.
