I'm going now but I'm sure if there is a creature in the Quatermass Experiment it would look like a worm or a blob so I think it's fair for somebody dressed up vaguely as a blob to say they've dressed up as the Quatermass Experiment in the same way as people like to say they've dressed up as Frankenstein rather than Frankenstein'd monster. If anybody is currently watching the Quatermass Experiment od DVD maybe they could let us know if there is a creature in it and if it is a blob or a worm? Here's hoping Saturday is a good laugh with or without Quatermass.
