Last day possible scenario #1
Next week, assume we lose to QPR (worse case scenario), Southampton lose to WBA and Sheff Weds beat Leicester.
Barring Southampton then turning round at least an 8 goal deficit at home to Sheff Utd on the last day (who will hopefully still be chasing a play-off spot if Palace lose at Hull next week and Sheff Utd beat Bristol C at home next week), how about Sheff Weds and and NCFC playing out a contrived 0-0 draw at Hillsbrough? A point each would be enough to satisfy both clubs, even if Southampton beat Sheff Utd and Leicester win at Stoke.
No shots, no crosses, nothing. Just pass it round for 90 mins, a bit like West Germany v Algeria in the World Cup 82. Could both clubs get 'done' for this?? I can't see how.
