Back from the game - some thoughts

Before I even start on our bad day at the office, that referee - Williamson - was SHIT. So shockingly bad I lost count of how many bad decisions he made. From missing the handball and penalty claim (the lino was waving his flag for ages, seriously) and then giving it....He gave West Brom literally everything, from fouls to corners - even missed a blatent back pass. I'm literally lost for words - the FA should investigate that

Anyway, I like most of the ground were bemused at today's line up. Russell and Dion on the bench?

After the first goal our heads dropped - we weren't in it all first half. Hucks looked bright but Cureton was anonymous again. Ched looked like he was out for himself. Marshall was Mr Flappy but made a cracking save. Gibbs made a few good runs - but no player really stood out.

Second half we were the more dominant team - despite the ref being their 12th man. Cureton made a right fluff, was glad to see him off, but Shackell - jesus H christ. He literally gifted them the ball for them to go 2-0 up. Dion was absolutely fuming at him as he stood there shrugging with a 'what did i do wrong' look on his face.

Rusty didn't make much of an impact compared to Chadwick, who along with Pattison were probably our better players second half.

And there we go - can't see how West Brom are where they are, but there we go...

Fucking hell that ref....
