...wish that was the case!

Felt great first half and was on target for a 4:40ish finish, then something in my foot went which sent shooting pains up my leg when running on it (it happened on one of my training runs too). Managed to keep a slower but steady pace for the remaining distance. Foot still hurts today which is good, at least I wasn't imagining it!

I did see Alan Brazil with a can of lager (who'd have thought...) at around mile fourteen though and gave him a rendition of 'Brazil, we all hate Alan Brazil' which he acknowledged with 'hello fella'.

Excellent day, despite getting in slower than I wanted to. Really humbling seeing other runners around you and the support you get from the crowds all along the route.

Signed up for next year this morning so hoping I get through the ballot, if not I'm tempted with Berlin in September '09.
