Yes, Theo Walcott has alot of pace. However there are a huge number of people in Britain that have pace. Ade Akibiyi had pace and strength. However he lacked talent and that is why he never made it at the top level and Arsenal were never sniffing around him.
Theo Walcott is 18 I think and he is lightning fast but if you watched that run last night he had great control of the ball, dribbling skills and a wonderfully weighted cross.
Yes, lots of skilfull young players don't make it as they don't have the right attributes eg strength but that has always been a key factor. Phil Mulryne and Paul Mcveigh both had lots of talent but one was a lazy fat waster and the other was too weak.
