Where was he supposed to be driving to whilst drunk then?
"Pattison had been in Prince of Wales Road nightclub Mercy until 4.30am and mistakenly drove to Norwich's Colney training ground the next morning whilst still twice over the legal limit."
Seriously though how can anyone get in a car and driv it not realising they are still drunk especially as pattison was more than 2x over the limit.
