I don't think people should be concerned about a Doc - Flem partership. Although Worthy said he was putting his best team out, he also said he wanted to top up some fitness levels. This probably refers to the fact that Fleming missed the Colchester game, and therefore was picked ahead of Shackell (who had also played 90 mins 3 days earlier). Well thats what I keep telling myself anyway.
Also in canary preview Worthy lists the spine of his team and he says Shackell and Flem in defence.
