Given the clubs statements about the numbers of players they

intended to sign - remember the 5 plus replacements for anybody else who leaves (Svensson, Holt, Francis (if he goes), Jonson & Helveg) ? So with 9 or 10 out and 5 signed in then another 3 is not unrealistic.

Trying to sign an international player in the season running up to the World Cup when the relevant national manager has already stated that he doesn't want his international players playing in The Championship is unrealistic.
