Perhaps they should build some wind farms to counter that?
As double_hipness points out, the reason is because birds regularly fly into wind turbine blades. This kills or badly injures the bird; but also likely damages the blade requiring costly repair, which I suspect is the company's real concern and the bad publicity that would surround killing a Golden Eagle
