Mostly agree about Bertrand, though I did think he was giving the winger too much space in the first half and they were getting too many crosses in from his side. Maybe it's something to do with distance (watching him from the River End when he is defending in front of the Barclay ) or the way play gets stretched and gives him a chance to shine in recvoering opposition breakaways, but it seems to me that when he plays at full back he improves in the second half.
My view of Hucks most of the season is that he has not been the force he was in previous years, but I thought this was the best I have seen him this year, some good runs, more end product than for a while. I couldn't understand why he was taking corners, though, as both Pattison and Fotheringham have been much more consistent.
