Great evening, although GR was late. He came across very well, was slightly sarcastic in his humour but very very witty. I found it hard to argue with anything he said, got everything spot on.

He said that he had a meeting with the boys today and said "look at that 38 year old sitting over there. We need to get out of this mess for him. He doesn't want to end his fantastic 20 year old career on a bad note". I think that is a class way of looking at it and if I was one of the players, they would motivate me so much.

He also made a very funny comment about Martin Allen, basically taking the pi$$ outta him for applying for the job and his comments when he didn't get it.

All in all, a great evening and I for one now feel slightly more confident for Saturday.
