we didnt have one appointed so we had to find one ourselves. Local lad who ref's five-a-side has been badgering us for reffing experience so we gave him a go.
10 minutes in he gives the pen and gets an earful from there manager on the sideline, totally uncalled for. The guy kept going the whole game berating this young lad.
He claimed he'd reffed for years, yet at the same time thought the best way to encourage a young ref was to give him constant abuse throughout the whole game.
I wonder what Sunday League would be without the c***'s.
