Stop all this pointless carping about

yesterday, Gibbs, Huckerby, Shackell etc. Why is it pointless? Because all that matters is that we stay up. Apart from that the debate is of little or no significance because, as everybody seemed to agree this time last week, next season is likely to see us supporting a virtually unrecognisable team.

So what we have to do is unite totally behind the rather 'patchwork' team we have and spur them on simply to get the precious few points we need to stay up. Then we can enjoy a summer of what will hopefully be exciting, interesting and enlightened transfer activity.

Just one note of caution (to myself): I remember being quite excited the summer before our recent Premiership season only to see Worthington make several of the worst signings in living memory. I trust Roeder not to do the same, though.
